Third-Party Providers (TPPs)
Third-party providers or “TPPs” are independent organizations or institutions. They collaborate with the faculty leader and Education Abroad Office in administering faculty-led education abroad programs. Third-party providers can *:
- Provide crisis and risk management support
- Provide mental and physical healthcare resources
- Provide language support like translators
- Provide chaperones and/or guides
- Include honorariums in budgets
- Assist in building programs:
- Arranging housing, excursions, on-site transportation
- Book group flights [if necessary]
- Assist with visas [if necessary]
* Specific services vary from provider to provider.
The UCR Education Abroad Office has interviewed and or worked with the TPPs below. Many UC and UCR students have also independently enrolled in some providers' programs through our Opportunities Abroad Program (OAP).
