  • New Scholarships Announced

Our partnership with STA Travel has evolved and will support student scholarships for summer programs going forward. The first three STA Start the Adventure scholarship recipients are listed below. Each student will receive a $1,000 summer scholarship, administered by UCEAP through the Scholarship Committee.

    • Mario Escalante, UC      Berkeley, Ghana
    • Araya Lin, UC San      Diego, Thailand
    • Christian Lugo, UC      Riverside, Dominican Republic

For every UCEAP student who books a flight, STA donates $15 to the scholarship fund to support future students participating on UCEAP programs. Please continue to encourage your students to book their travel with STA. The more students who book, the more scholarships we can offer in 2017! Information is available on our website at http://eap.ucop.edu/Scholarships/Pages/STA.aspx.

  • We are also pleased to announce a relationship with the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (formerly the Monterey Institute of International Studies).

All UCEAP alumni will receive a guaranteed scholarship of $5,000 for graduate study at MIIS. Students are also eligible for other merit and need-based awards. MIIS came to UCEAP to offer this scholarship because they know our students are culturally competent, academically accomplished, and often have advanced language skills. More information can be found at http://www.miis.edu/admissions/financialaid/scholarships/uceap.
