60th Anniversary Reunion & Bon Voyage Celebration
May 5, 2023
6:00 – 8:00pm, Doors open at 5:45pm
Dinner at Highlander Union Building, Room 302
For 60 years, Education Abroad at UCR has encouraged students to enhance their education and expand their worldview by experiencing life in another country or culture.
This entertaining evening of awards, dinner, and cultural performances is a celebration of our past, present, and future:
- Recognizing “UCR Global Envoy honorees” – key individuals who have been instrumental in supporting Education Abroad at UCR,
- Celebrating current UCR students who are about to depart on their own Education Abroad adventures around the world, and
- Raising scholarship funds to support future UCR students who participate in international programs through Education abroad.
Proceeds from the May 5 event will go to the “Education Abroad Programs Fund,” which provides scholarships to UCR students who study abroad. These young scholars will one day become engaged global citizens – teachers, doctors, lawyers, scientists, engineers, artists, activists, and entrepreneurs who will change our world for the better.
